Biography

Dr Zhang Bailu is Associate Professor in the International School of Design. She is currently engaged in teaching foundational courses in industrial design modeling. Her research focuses on art history, art aesthetics, art creation, and art criticism. She has published over forty academic papers in journals such as Hundred Schools in Arts and Fine Arts & Design. She has also served as Principal Investigator for more than ten research projects at various levels, including A History of Landscape Painting in Guangdong and A Study on the Contemporary Significance of the Humanistic Spirit in Traditional Literati Painting. Her artistic works have been featured in exhibitions and publications, including:

l Evening Scene of a Pastoral Area and Dwelling in the Mountains – selected for exhibitions such as the 4th Contemporary Chinese Shanshui Painting Exhibition and the Provincial Cross-Century Chinese Painting Exhibition, receiving multiple awards

l Selected works have been published and reviewed in Art News of China, Dahe Daily, and other newspapers and magazines
